Is your forever note that your tip is too high or too low? Do you not understand what people mean when they say the blade is an extension of your arm? Do you want a closer, more intimate relationship with your sword? Come mess around with incorporating your prop into your proprioception! We'll focus on finding where your body is in relation to itself, and how to extend that awareness to something you're holding.

Katie Warner (she/him) is a performer, teaching artist, fight choreographer, and intimacy director based in the DC Metro Area. She is an Advanced Actor Combatant with the SAFD, and has spent her whole life training in numerous movement disciplines. She was nominated for a 2023 WATCH Award for Stage Combat Choreography.
Training: Duke Ellington School of the Arts, DC; Sarah Lawrence College, NY (BA, 2022); British American Drama Academy, Oxford (MCP ‘16, MIO ‘22).
