Featuring top area improv comedy groups: Calamity: The Show (of Fauquier and Herndon), DCUP (of Washington D.C.), Funny By Proxy (of Arlington), Home Improv Mints (of Tysons Corner), Mason Improv Association (of Fairfax), Porkchop Volcano (of Washington D.C.), Pundemics (of Manassas), and (the) Unruly Theatre Project (of McLean) this one-night-only event promises a high-energy battle of comedic timing, creativity, and audience participation that you won't soon forget.

Improvicon will showcase some of the DMV's most talented improvisational comedians, each team bringing their best unscripted performances to the stage. Teams will be challenged with bizarre scenarios, wild prompts, and surprising twists that only the best and bravest improvisers can handle. The audience will play a crucial role, giving suggestions and voting for their favorite performances and influencing the direction of the show throughout the night.

Expect an array of hilarious games, group improvisations, and spontaneous comedy that will keep you guessing until the very end. From rapid-fire games to emotional monologues, no two moments will be alike. Whether you’re a long-time fan of improv or a newcomer to the art form, this event is guaranteed to be a blast.

“Improvicon is a celebration of creativity and fun,” said Natasha Parnian, producer of the event. “We’re excited to bring together the best improvisers in the area for a night of unpredictable humor, and the audience will be just as much a part of the action as the performers themselves.”

The event is open to all ages, but recommended for ages 12+. Be sure to grab your tickets early as this show is expected to sell out quickly. The doors open at 6:30pm, with the performance starting at 7:00pm.
