This Hermanus evening group is built exclusively for complete beginners - including anyone starting from zero fitness, older runners, or those carrying extra weight. You go at your own pace, nobody is ever left behind, and our Coaches know exactly how to regroup the team so everyone finishes supported.

WHAT YOU'LL GET: 

- 16 coached group sessions (Mondays & Wednesdays, 18:00-18:45).
- Weekly interval schedule & gentle progression from 30s run/60s walk to your first 5KM.
- One “Homework” run each week.
- Real-time coaching on running form basics, breathing techniques & mental strategies.
- Warm ups, cool downs, pacing education, and injury prevention guidance.
- WhatsApp group support with direct Coach access.
- A beginner only community at the same starting point.
- Missed a session? Your Coach will post the session on the group, so you can catch it up.
- 5KM graduation run in Week 8.
- Shirt + Welcome Gift Pack: for sign‑ups up to 22nd June 2026.
For every sign‑up (any time): finisher’s medal, pre‑programme coffee voucher, and the digital Welcome Booklet (how running can change your life, the full 8‑week plan, warm ups/cool downs, form, breathing, pacing, kit guidance, nutrition & hydration basics, injury‑prevention)

DOG FRIENDLY? 
Yup - bring your pup on a lead and please clean up after them.

WEATHER POLICY:

- Light drizzle: we lace up. Heavy rain or winds over 35 km/h: we reschedule within the week. You never lose a session to weather.

WHO THIS IS FOR:

- Complete beginners, nervous starters, returners after a long break, and anyone who’s felt “too unfit/too slow/too embarrassed.” If that’s you, this programme was designed around your needs.

WHAT TO BRING:

- Comfortable trainers, a light layer, water. We’ll handle the plan, coaching, and motivation.
