Christmas Oratorio

On Saturday 31 January, Hereford Cathedral Choir will give a complete performance of J S Bach’s Christmas Oratorio.

The choir will be joined by soloists Lucy Cox, soprano, Ciara Hendrick, mezzo soprano, Gwilym Bowen, tenor, and Alex Ashworth, bass, and the period-instrument ensemble Marches Baroque, conducted by Geraint Bowen. This will be Geraint’s last concert appearance with the cathedral choir before he retires the following month.

The Christmas Oratorio is supported by the William A Cadbury Charitable Trust and Hereford Cathedral Perpetual Trust.

The concert begins at 7 pm and tickets cost £25 and £18. These are available to purchase from the cathedral website or ticket desk.
