Botanical Walk at Carr House

Liz Makings has a master’s degree in botany and is the Collections Manager for the ASU Herbarium. She is an acknowledged expert on the plants of the Huachuca Mountains and along the San Pedro River. In fact, she has published a book, Flora of the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area, Cochise County, Arizona, which is available for purchase at the San Pedro House Nature Store, operated by our sister organization, the Friends of the San Pedro River. Liz will bring a different perspective to this walk based on her scientific background.
