We will also be talking about the new BFI NETWORK Short Film Funding and upcoming opportunities for Midlands Filmmakers and giving you the opportunity to ask your regional Talent Execs about the funds.The event will follow Open Screen at Borderlines Film Festival - a screening and showcasing the best in locally made short films from filmmakers in Herefordshire, Powys, Shropshire and Worcestershire. So come join us for a drink after the screening, meet the filmmakers involved, hear about what we are up to in the Midlands and build new connections and networks.The event will also have a Q&A with one of our Talent Executives, allowing you to ask any questions about BFI NETWORK Short Film Funding!The Open Screen screening beforehand will take place from 1:30pm at the Courtyard - to book your free ticket head to https://www.courtyard.org.uk/events/open-screen-2026-15/
