Ruth Bancroft Storytime: Seeds, Roots & Shoots

Join Miss Marie from Ruth Bancroft Garden for a fun, interactive story time all about seeds! 10:00am-11:00am on Saturday, August 30th at Hercules Library.

Seeds are little packages waiting to grow into plants, bushes, and trees. Imagine a tiny acorn, holding the potential to become a mighty oak tree!

Here’s what you can look forward to:
· Explore seeds and discover how they grow.
· Enjoy a special reading of Rooting for You, one of Miss Marie’s favorite books.
· Experience the "Plant Petting Zoo" and get up close with plants.
· Create your very own grass head and watch its “hair” sprout and grow over time!

This hands-on story time is perfect for sparking curiosity and inspiring a love for plants and nature. Children of all abilities are welcome to join in the fun!


This storytime will be held on the children's side of the library. For special accommodations, please contact the Library with 72 hours notice.
