Ash Wednesday at Trinity

Ash Wednesday begins the season of Lent, a 40-day season of waiting and growing as disciples as we journey towards the cross and hope of Easter. On Ash Wednesday, we remember our human mortality - you are invited to receive ashes on your forehead as a simple, tangible reminder of this.

At Trinity, clergy will be available in front of the Welcome Center (facing Forest Avenue) on Wednesday, February 18 to offer "drive through" blessings and imposition of ashes between 7:30 and 8:30am. The Chapel will be open from 9am through 4pm for those who want to pray and in a quiet place. At 7:00pm, we will have a worship service with music, liturgy, a message, and imposition of ashes. This service will also be offered via live stream at trinityumc.net/live.
