Our Silver expedition sees groups hike their five-day journey with carrying their own equipment and supplies for the trip. The Jarrahdale National Park has a number of peaks to conquer along the way. Depending on the season and team decisions there a number of additional opportunities to experience such as additional peaks, pools and caves to explore and abseiling opportunities! Our expedition framework is a starting point, but definitely not the final plan. Any expedition plan is agile and up for adaptions. Factors that will influence the plans we follow through with are weather, team abilities and of course the decisions you make along the way about your preferred location. No two expeditions will look exactly alike! Once registered, participants will be contacted to gather participants; health, dietary, insurance details and consents and for invoicing. Expeditions by their nature occur in remote or isolated environments where access to primary health providers and emergency care can be limited. Participant information will be used to help determine suitability to participate in a respective expedition. This Expedition is suitable for anyone conducting their Silver or Gold award. It can be used as either your practice or qualifying Adventurous Journey at the Gold level or an all-encompassing Adventurous Journey for Silver level.
