The film features a grassroots group of farmworkers in the 1990’s – now the Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW) who united to protect their fellow workers, after getting no heat safety accommodations from their employers.

This event is made possible by El Centro, League of Women Voters, Indivisible Henderson County, Progressive Alliance of Henderson County, Just Economics, Creation Care Alliance, and Working Films.
