Because we believe that when women thrive, the world thrives.This is the sixth event in a series of FREE mindful hikes for women. We welcome all fitness levels. Our goal is to enjoy the journey.This hike features Bearwallow Mountain in Gerton, NC. We'll hike for a bit and stop for a guided meditation along the way. Then we'll stop at the top of the mountain for some mindfulness and journaling before returning to the trailhead.This loop trail is rated as moderate, 2 miles in length with 574 feet of elevation change. Learn more about the trail here. **IMPORTANT!  WE ARE MEETING AT INGLES, 3643 HOWARD GAP ROAD IN HENDERSONVILLE AT 8:15 AM AND CARPOOLING TO THE TRAIL. The CARPOOL location is approximately 35 minutes from Asheville, NC; one hour from Greenville, SC. Parking is limited at the trailhead. Please be punctual. Location/Directions: We will meet and carpool from Ingles, 3643 Howard Gap Road in Hendersonville at 8:15am, depart at 8:30am and arrive at the trailhead at 9am.Difficulty level/Distance: 2 miles on a moderate, loop trail (574 feet of elevation gain).Restroom Facilities: There are no restrooms at the trailhead. Please meet us at Ingles, allowing time to use the restroom before we depart at 8:30am.What you will need for this hike:Plenty of water to drink (we recommend at least 1 liter)Lunch or snacks to eat at the waterfallComfortable hiking shoes/boots or trail sneakers with good tractionComfortable moisture wicking clothing (i.e. workout clothes) and layers to keep you warmA towel or cushion to sit on if you're uncomfortable sitting on the groundTrekking poles or any other items that would make your hike more comfortableYour journal and something to write withA daypack/backpack to carry all your itemsPlease review the liability waiver  and be prepared to acknowledge and accept at sign in for your event.*If you can't make it, please CANCEL your registration so your ticket can be released. This event will sell out at 25 guests due to limited parking.This event is for women identified folks 18 and older only.* WH2H Group hikes are free events and our Ambassadors are unpaid volunteers.
