It is one of the most scientifically studied archaeological artifacts in the world, yet modern science cannot explain how the mysterious image on the Shroud was formed.

The Who Is the Man of the Shroud? Experience features a full-sized, authorized, museum-quality replica of the Shroud of Turin and other pieces related to the historical death, burial and Resurrection of Jesus, such as:

- Roman Crucifixion elements: crucifixion nails, flagra (scourges or whips), spear

- Replica of first-century Jewish burial tomb (3D-printed)

- Life-sized black-and-white mapping panels of the shroud (front and back images)

- Life-sized bronze statue: a six-foot-long figure depicting the crucified man of the Shroud

- 24 full-color, informational panels and infographics

On Sunday, March 15, hear from Dr. Jeremiah Johnston in all services. He’s the author of The Jesus Discoveries, which reveals centuries of archaeological evidence—lost cities, ancient documents, and historical artifacts—that verify who Jesus was, when and where He lived, His claims, and His resurrection.

How do I find the exhibit? The Who is the Man of the Shroud? Exhibit is in the Information Area at Long Hollow Hendersonville (3031 Long Hollow Pike). Enter through the Main Entrance, and the Information Area is just ahead on the right.

Is there a cost to see the exhibit? This is a free event!

Who can come? This event is open to the public.

Is this appropriate for children? The topic of the crucifixion is heavy, but Jesus is for everyone. Some families may find the life-size bronze statue depicting a crucified man difficult for young or sensitive children. Please use your discretion.

Do I need to register? No registration is required. Please be aware that some times may be busier than others, and plan accordingly.

How long does it take? This is a self-guided, museum-quality, walk-through exhibit, and can take anywhere from 20 - 60 minutes, depending on your personal pace.

What about parking? There is plenty of free parking just steps away from the exhibit. Park on the west side of the building, near the Main Entrance. Check out this map to help guide you.
