We are setting up the studio for families to come in and create together. Here is what will be waiting for you:

Build cardboard flowers and birds to take home. Paint with watercolor — let the May flowers and birds theme inspire you or paint whatever is in your heart. Head into the messy paint room and paint on paper — follow the theme or go completely your own direction. Use the light table to trace birds and flowers in the most satisfying way. And in the middle of it all, add your mark to a giant community Tree of Life installation inspired by local artist Julian McNally's Alchemy collection currently on display in the studio.
Every room has something to make. Every age has a place to start.
And here is the part that makes this possible.

Marigold Estates is a local estate company that believes art supplies should go back into the community — not to a donation bin. Instead of giving unsold art supplies to Goodwill, they donate them directly to Permission To Play. Because of their generosity we are able to offer Family Days completely free to our Hendersonville community.

Come create with your people. Bring your kids, your partner, your mom, your neighbor. All ages. All welcome. No experience needed.
