# Event Details

- **Event Name**: Prepare Him Room
- **Event Start and End Date**: Thu, 03 Dec, 2026 at 09:30 am (-08:00)
- **Event Description**: The Christmas season can fill up quickly. Between the celebrations, responsibilities, and holiday preparations, it's easy to lose sight of what matters most. This December, take a little time to slow down, be refreshed, and prepare Him room.

Join us at Green Valley Baptist Church for Prepare Him Room, a free video event produced by Lifeway, featuring Bible teacher and author Melissa Spoelstra!

Melissa may be familiar to you! She was our conference speaker last March, and we recently completed her Angels study in Women's Bible Study. If you haven't heard her teaching before, this is a wonderful opportunity to get to know her.

This event is designed with you and your friends in mind. Invite a friend, bring someone who could use a little encouragement, and enjoy an evening of worship, biblical teaching, and time to refocus your heart on Jesus.

We'll also be hosting a bake sale! Proceeds will benefit Crescent Valley Baptist Church in Northern Nevada as they work to build a playground and make needed HVAC repairs so they can launch their children's ministry. It's a sweet opportunity to support another church as they work to reach and serve families in their community! Bring cash! You'll want to have a little spending money on hand to enjoy some homemade treats while supporting a great ministry. ❤️

Let's make room in our hearts, homes, and lives for the One whose birth we celebrate.
