🌵 HistoryOHV & Tour of Walking Box Ranch 🌄
📅 Saturday, June 7th | 🕗 Meet at 7:00 AM | 📍 Railroad Pass Casino
Limit to 15 vehicles
Join us for an invite-only adventure through one of Nevada's most sacred and scenic landscapes! Partnering with Friends of Avi Kwa Ame, this special OHV and walking tour celebrates our public lands and National Monuments with a journey that blends natural beauty, history, and purpose.
🚙 Meet at 7:00 AM at Railroad Pass Casino. We roll out at 7:30 AM sharp!
Our route will wind through the stunning Wee Thump Wilderness, home to a breathtaking Joshua tree forest—including the largest Joshua tree in the U.S. (Selfie stop included 📸🌳).
We'll end our ride at the historic Walking Box Ranch, where the Friends of Avi Kwa Ame will welcome us with lunch and refreshments, followed by a guided tour of the former home of Hollywood legends Clara Bow and Rex Bell—a hidden gem from the 1920s where they raised their family.
As we wrap up, take in the awe-inspiring look at the vista of Spirit Mountain, a sacred site and the origin point of the creation story for the 10 Yuman-speaking Tribes—a spiritual landmark often called the “Western Sistine Chapel.”
✨ This tour is part of a broader celebration of National Monuments and an opportunity to raise awareness for the protection of this irreplaceable landscape. We’ll have signs available and would love for you to help spread the word—share your photos, stories, and love for public lands on social media using the tags and prompts we provide.
📣 Let’s rally together to help keep Avi Kwa Ame access open and protected for generations to come.
This event is by invitation only. Please RSVP to secure your spot.
