- **Event Description**: Did you know the US will need to hire an estimated 3.8 million new manufacturing workers over the next decade? Vance-Granville Community College is joining the movement to fill the skills gap and inspire the future workforce at our 2025 Manufacturing Day event!

This celebration of modern manufacturing (or “MFG,” for short) will inspire the next generation of manufacturers and encourage students to learn skills applicable to employment in this industry and beyond. Students will have the opportunity to try out various types of Mechatronics equipment such as drones and robotics. Local industry representatives are invited to come build excitement about manufacturing careers to help their communities and future generations thrive.

Registration is now open for this year’s event; event organizers encourage attendees and vendors to register early as space is limited. Sign up as an attendee or industry partner at www.vgcc.edu/manufacturing-day-2025.
