We now honor his legacy by working to preserve and highlight Black history -- this year, communities will work together to transcribe historical documents for the Colored Conventions Project. These digitized documents will then be freely available for historians and researchers to learn more about the Colored Conventions movement.

You can join us for birthday cake on the first floor of the ARC on Friday, Feb. 13, at any time between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. We'll show you how to transcribe, and you can work with us to make history more accessible. All are welcome!
