Communion Thursday at Landing Place Church
Before the celebration… there was the table.
Before the empty tomb… there was the cross.
Communion Thursday is a sacred pause in the middle of Holy Week — a space to slow down, reflect, and remember the sacrifice that changed everything.
On the night before He was crucified, Jesus gathered with His disciples, broke bread, and said, “This is my body, given for you.” He lifted the cup and said, “This is my blood, poured out for you.”
He knew what was coming — and He chose love anyway.
This evening sets the tone for Easter. It invites us to sit in the weight of what Jesus endured, to examine our hearts, and to respond with gratitude and surrender.
Together, we will:
• Reflect on the depth of Christ’s sacrifice
• Share in communion as a church family
• Worship in a quiet, meaningful atmosphere
• Prepare our hearts for Resurrection Sunday
This is not just a service — it’s an invitation to remember.
To repent.
To receive grace again.
Come experience the beauty and gravity of the cross as we gather in reverence and hope.
Service Time:
Thursday April 2nd at 6PM
Let’s come to the table together.
