It's St. Patrick's Day month and in honor of this great green holiday, we've gathered some Celtic flavored talent for you, featuring Kat Finnigan & Fiona McAlister. About the Songwriters:

Kat Finnigan began songwriting in November of 2013. She published a children’s book in combination with a song of the same title, “A Day in the Leaves of Fall” in 2018. Kat and her husband Barry host local musicians on Acoustic Faith Sunday monthly and have hosted monthly open mic nights locally. Kat and her family have hosted an event benefiting Holy Angels in September of each year and Kat especially loves putting on a concert for the residents on their campus. She is a member of two songwriting groups, the Southern Songwriters Association and the Renegade Writers. Her song, “The Unjudgment Way”, is featured on the Human Library’s website, humanlibrary.org!

Fiona McAlister: Singer Songwriter, coach, and Nashville recording artist based in Denver, NC. A Nashville Songwriters International Association Chapter Coordinator for 14 years. She is a multi-instrumentalist with a hammered dulcimer CD of Celtic Ballads, numerous singles, and a CD of originals called “Stained Glass Wings”.  She loves the creativity of the studio and records her music in Nashville with five-piece bands but likes to showcase her songwriting with her own guitar accompaniment. Fiona’s songs are unique, thoughtful, uplifting, and sometimes leave you laughing. For more info: https://Fionasongwriter.com. 

PJ Brunson: Rock Hill singer-songwriter with folk roots and an easy listening vibe. Her songs often center around the themes of life, love, and family. She performs full-time around the Carolinas and beyond. She is also half of the piano-violin duo “Ananda” with Laurie Neal. The two perform original instrumentals they describe as Celtic-Classical-New Age fusion. PJ hosts the monthly songwriter showcase at Illumination Wines. For more info: https://pjbrunson.com. 

About the Venue: 

Illumination Wines: provides an intimate setting to hear some of the best original music by local artists in the Carolinas. Join us every second Tuesday of the month from 6:30-8:00 PM. Free.
