- **Event Description**: If you want to find out more about the Westwick Row cohousing project, come along to this Open Day!About this EventThis Open Day provides an opportunity to find out more about cohousing at Westwick Row and what is proposed, visit the site, and meet existing members of the developing cohousing group.TOWN and The Crown Estate submitted the planning application for Westwick Row in December 2025, following a codesign process involving people interested in cohousing here.At the Open Day we will be sharing the latest designs, home layouts, pricing, and the construction timeline.Whether you’ve taken part in the codesign process or just curious about cohousing, this is your chance to find out more about ```````Westwick Row and meet others who are interested too.What to expect on the day10.30am - ArrivalsJoin us at Leverstock Green Primary School at 10.30am for tea, coffee and cake.There is plenty of parking at the venue. If you are coming by train the best option is to go to St Albans and get a taxi from there. Please let us know if this is your plan and we may be able to organise taxi-sharing.10.45am – Presentations and Q&AWe’ll kick off with a welcome and project overview. The TOWN team, joined by members of the cohousing group will talk through where we are, what’s next, and answer your questions.12.00pm - Site visitWe will go on a short walk to visit the Westwick Row site where the cohousing community will be built. Please wear clothing suitable for crossing a field for this.12.30pm - Cohousing short film showingThis film was produced by Cambridge University of the Third Age and features residents of Marmalade Lane cohousing community talking about their experience of living there.1.00pm – Lunch and social (optional)We’ll provide a catered lunch with time to meet each other and talk more informally.  This will be vegan and vegetarian. When you RSVP, please let us know if you have any dietary requirements by email.If you’d like to attend but can’t make the date, please email Frances (), we'll do our best to organise a follow-up session online.We hope to see you there!
