Reparto Cubano is a vibrant and energetic urban dance and music style, from Cuba, which was born from Reggaetón Cubano and Afro-Cuban rhythms. Birthplace of the whole genre is an area's which are called Reparto in Cuba. Right now the Reparto music and dance is gaining huge popularity all over the world. Reparto Cubano isn’t just for urban dancers though — it’s a powerful style that every Cuban Salsa dancer should add to the arsenal to bring more flavor, control, musicality and flow to their dance. Reparto Cubano as a dance style focuses on: - Urban flow - Solo freestyle - Body isolations - Groove and attitude If you’re passionate about Cuban Salsa or just starting your dance journey, there’s one secret to improving faster and standing out on the dance floor: learning Reparto Cubano. We will have 2x 60min Workshops: ? Workshop 1: We will learn and drill most common "grooves", or basic movements which create foundation for our Reparto. Many of the foundation moves have names, which we will also learn. Already knowing the base foundation of Reparto will give us a great flow, to dance with the right attitude. ?Workshop 2: We will learn a Reparto Choreography, tailored to a song choreographed by Alex the Lyon. The choreo will include some of the base moves already learned, as well as other moves tailored to the Choreo and Music. Open level: This two hour session will be super beneficial to anyone who is only just starting with Reparto and ALSO, thanks to the repetitive manner of the drills, highly beneficial to dancers who already know some Reparto from before.
