- **Event Description**: (In English below)

In English:

Susanna Leinonen’s latest work, Pain Killer, explores the nature of physical and emotional pain. How does our tendency to avoid pain and difficult emotions shape us, ultimately influencing the society we live in? What do we lose when we seek to eliminate pain through artificial means?

The experimental soundscape by rap artist Kasperi Laine shifts from subtle intimacy to raw intensity, amplifying the dancers’ physical presence and emotional expression.

In a pre-performance talk, Leinonen offers audiences a deeper insight into the work’s themes and artistic process.

Pain Killer is a powerful and thought-provoking contemporary dance work that invites audiences to reflect on their own relationship with pain, vulnerability, and what it means to be human.
