The Nordic Biodynamic Forum is organized annually together with the Nordisk Forskningring and biodynamic associations of Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. The forum is a meeting place for everyone interested in regenerative agriculture and the biodynamic method.
We are happy to host the annual Nordic Biodynamic Forum in Finland on 21.-23.11.2025 at Snellman College in Helsinki. The weekend is full of inspiring content!
Growing the future together - Theme of the Forum
The roots of the deepening ecological challenges lie in human egoism and apathy. The future is asking for a spiritual and cultural change, which can not be done alone. We need communities, people coming together and encouraging and igniting each other. Together we can make a difference. The international theme of the year for the biodynamic community is: “You Never Farm Alone”, which serves as a gateway to this brighter future.
Farms are not isolated islands. Agriculture is always an endeavor of the community – rooted in relationships, strengthened by alliances, and driven by the pursuit of new, more sustainable social dynamics. Building communities requires intensive work, discussions, and openness. The work can be exhausting, but in return offers joy, trust, security, and resilience. It is not only about keeping farms alive, but also about giving a connection to the real soil for the uprooted city dwellers.
The theme of the year invites us to explore and support collective farming, agroforestry, soil health and vitality, economic impulses, and other critical issues. The new social solutions that emerge may even be more effective than technical solutions. Involving all people is the key to shaping a hopeful future. Guided by the theme "You Never Farm Alone", we are exploring the community-building aspects of biodynamics.
