- **Event Description**: Join us for a spring day in the nature!You are warmly invited to join us for a pilgrimage around the beautiful Lauttasaari island intended especially for multicultural and multilingual residents and visitors. The communication will primarily be in English but everyone is welcome!The pilgrimage will begin at the Lauttasaari Church and follow the island’s shoreline ending back at the church. Along the route you will have the opportunity to explore the themes of the Lord's Prayer through text music and guided mental imagery at nine stops.The route is approximately 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) long so please ensure you have appropriate clothing and footwear and allocate enough time for the journey. You may also walk part of the route or stop at just one of the stops. This pilgrimage is a great way to meet fellow travelers and experience the beautiful island with its diverse nature.We will meet before the walk at the church’s inner courtyard (by the church tower) in front of entrance B. Lauttasaari Church is located at Myllykallionrinne 1 with easy access from the centre of Helsinki by metro (Lauttasaari station exit “Gyldenintie”).Itinerary for Saturday 17th May 2025:• 10.00 Meeting at the church• Walk around Katajaharju (approx.1 hour)• 11.15 (approx.) Return to the church coffee/tea is served• 11.45 (approx.) We leave to continue our journey towards Särkiniemi and Vattuniemi• 13.15 / 13.30 (approx.)
