- **Event Description**: Ammuu! ? Maitotilojen vuotuisen kohokohdan aika on taas täällä, kun lehmät kirmaavat kesälaitumille lauantaina 9.5.2026. Tuija Pehkosen juontama ohjelma alkaa klo 10.30 ja lehmät pääsevät laitumelle noin klo 11.15 alkaen.

Jo perinteeksi muodostunut laitumellelasku järjestetään Viikin tutkimustilalla. Tule tutustumaan maitotilan elämään ja seuraamaan Valion, Helsingin yliopiston sekä maatalousylioppilaiden yhdistyksen Sampsa ry:n järjestämää lehmien iloisen riehakasta laitumellelaskua! ?

Tapahtuma-alueella on kaikenlaista hauskaa ohjelmaa koko perheelle, muun muassa keppihevosrata, lehmäaiheista askartelua, kasvomaalausta, Valion maitoauton esittely ja Sampsa ry:n ulkoilmakahvila, josta saa pientä syötävää. Paikalla on myös Helsingin yliopiston lehmädosentit, jotka vastailevat lasten ja muidenkin lehmistä kiinnostuneiden kysymyksiin. 

Suosithan tapahtumapaikalle saapuessa joukkoliikennettä ja kevyen liikenteen väyliä. Parkkitilaa on erittäin rajallisesti. Tutustuthan myös tapahtuman ohjeistukseen ennen tapahtumapäivää, jotta takaamme kaikille turvallisen ja viihtyisän kokemuksen.

Moo! ? It's time to let Finland's most urban cows to the pasture. We'll celebrate the beginning of the grazing season on Saturday 9th of May. The event, hosted by Tuija Pehkonen, starts at 10.30 AM and the cows will enter to the pasture approximately at 11.15 AM. Come greet our cows at the Viikki Research Farm of the University of Helsinki! ?

There will be a lot of activities for the whole family: the kids can have fun with a hobby horse track, face painting, and crafting cow heads. There will also be Valio’s milk truck as well as transport truck to see. Throughout the event, Sampsa ry will sell some snacks to enjoy at the outdoor café. During the event, cow docents from the University of Helsinki will discuss questions regarding the cows. 

Please note that the parking space is limited. We strongly recommend arriving by public transport. Please review the event guidelines before the event day to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
