The peer-driven music conversation is back for round three, and this time around at a true Helsinki gem, Ambient Bar, nestled in the Arabia135 creative quarter.
Once more, Kaleidoscope brings artists and industry minds together for a night of open, honest dialogue and shared experiences that dig into the realities behind creative work.
Hosted by Jonas Verwijnen and Lotta Savolainen, the evening blends perspectives from Finland’s music scene with insights shaped by international practice.
The goal is simple: to build a space where art, work, peer-support, and collaboration meet naturally, without hierarchies or barriers.
Kaleidoscope is not a panel. Not a lecture. Just real talk and community activation open to everyone in the room.
This event is powered by ODDfest. PA system and equipment provided by Muusikkojen liitto.
Program
5pm–6.30pm — Open Discussion
Discussion flows in both English and Finnish.
7pm–8pm — NOW Improvisation Session
An unscripted performance where artists invite one another on stage in the spirit of “now.” Artists are free to bring their own instruments. A PA and mics will be available on-site.
8pm–10pm — DJ Sets & Socializing
Stay for music, relaxed conversation, and connections that might just lead to something new.
This third edition is part of a growing series with four more Kaleidoscope events already planned for spring 2026, leading up to a special showcase at ODDfest in June.
The vision is long-term: to make Helsinki an open, bold, and community-driven meeting point for music.
