K-L-R -trion vapaaseen soittoon pohjautuvassa musiikissa eri tavoin tuotetut äänet yhdistyvät kudelmiksi, jotka löytävät paikkansa sävelletyissä rakenteissa.  Kuultavissa on vaikutteita improvisoidun ja kokeellisen musiikin eri suuntauksista.

J. Koho lähestyy ääntä, äänilähteitä, soittimia ja soittamista tilanteen mukaan. Hänen työskentelyään siivittää usein ääniin kohdistuva ihmetys ja niiden tuottama ilo.

Vesa Lehko on kiinnostunut musiikin ja erilaisten ääni-ilmiöiden rajojen tutkiskelusta puupuhaltimien, löydettyjen äänten ja objektien kautta. 

Juha Rautio soittaa improvisoitua musiikkia sähkökitaralla ja lähestyy musiikkia runouden ja yleisen avantgardismin hattu kourassa.

In the free-playing music by the trio K-L-R, sounds produced in different ways are combined into weaves that find their place in composed structures. Influences from different trends in improvised and experimental music can be heard.

J. Koho approaches sound, sound sources, instruments and playing according to the situation. His work is often inspired by the wonder of sounds and the joy they bring.

Vesa Lehko is interested in exploring the boundaries of music and various sound phenomena through woodwinds, found sounds and objects.

Juha Rautio plays improvised music on the electric guitar and approaches music with a hat of poetry and general avant-gardism in his hand.
