Sama rock’n’rollin ja rhythm & bluesin syke, nyt vain toisella tavalla tulkittuna. Talven keskelle rakentuva workshop kutsuu mukaan hyvän musiikin ja tanssin ystävät, jotka nauttivat svengaavasta rytmistä. Päivän aikana opit vierailevilta, kokeneilta huippuopettajilta, jotka avaavat boogie woogien liikekieltä ja musiikintulkintaa käytännönläheisesti ja inspiroivasti. Aamupäivällä taso on keski-edistyneet, jolloin odotamme, että lajin perusteet on hyvin hallussa. Iltapäivällä aloitetaan ihan alusta ja edetään sopivasti ryhmän tason ja fiiliksen mukaan. Anna Tyutyunyuk Aamupäivä: keski-edistyneet Anna on boogie woogie -tanssija ja opettaja, joka tunnetaan selkeästä opetustyylistään, vahvasta musiikintulkinnastaan ja innostavasta otteestaan. Hänen opetuksessaan korostuvat rytmi ja tanssin ilo – taidot, jotka tekevät boogie woogiesta nautittavaa myös sosiaalitanssilattialla. Hänen opetuksensa on käytännön läheistä, kannustavaa ja helposti lähestyttävää. This wintertime workshop invites lovers of good music and dance who enjoy a swinging rhythm. During the day you will learn from experienced top-level instructors who open up the movement language and musical interpretation of boogie woogie in a practical and inspiring way. In the morning, the level is intermediate–advanced, and we expect participants to have a solid command of the basics. In the afternoon, we start right from the beginning and progress at a pace suited to the group’s level and vibe. Anna Tyutyunyuk Morning: Intermediate–Advanced Anna is a boogie woogie dancer and teacher known for her clear teaching style, strong musical interpretation, and inspiring approach. Her classes emphasize rhythm and the joy of dancing—skills that make boogie woogie enjoyable on the social dance floor as well. Her international competition background brings confidence and depth to her teaching, but for Anna the most important thing is that the dance feels good and works with the music. Otto Valtamo Afternoon: Beginners & Beginner–Improver Otto is an experienced rock’n’swing dance teacher with a long background in teaching boogie woogie and other swing dance styles. His teaching is practical, encouraging, and easy to approach. Rhythm’n’Blues Party – the evening continues on the dance floor The day culminates in a Rhythm’n’Blues party, which is also open to guests outside the workshops. The evening’s music works perfectly for both boogie woogie and rockabilly jive.
