From February 27th till March 1st, a full spread of events covering a variety of formats will converge to create an experience for all players, both new and old, casual and competitive. So read on for more info and how to go in the draw to win a special prize on the day!

The fabled GIL Shop will be back and open for players to earn big bucks and trade in from the patented GIL Shop, offering a range of goodies for all players.
GIL can be earnt in all events of FFTCG over the course of the weekend.
GIL Shop offerings are still coming in and is growing but a sneak peek image can be found in the comments.
Prize wall will not open till after the Summer Cup main event on Saturday, so Friday is your chance to earn extra Gil in preparation.
Raffle tickets will be purchasable this year also from the prize wall to do a final Sunday Prize Wall Raffle (there might be some special exclusive prizes available exclusive to the raffle too, who knows).
Every Event Pays
Each round of each event played = 5 Gil
Each win in each event = 5 Gil
Top Cuts (when available) = Double Gil!!

Compete in this Early Bird tournament to get a head in the Gil race! Standard event, Swiss tournament, Bo,1, 35min rounds, no top cut but still completely double Gil rewards ready to go for Saturday!

SATURDAY FEB 28
MAIN EVENT: TEAM FORMATS:
Time: 10:00AM
Entry: $25.00 per team member ($75.00 per team)
In a team of 3, each player will represent a different format of FFTCG – TITLE, L3, Common ONLY PAUPER.
Teams will then face off against each other in Bo1 games (Player TITLE vs TITLE, L3 vs L3, PAUPER vs PAUPER) to get an overall Bo3 result. Every round played earns GIL, every win earns extra GIL. 45min Swiss Rounds with Single Elimination Top Cut!
SATURDAY NIGHT FINAL FANTASY TRIVIA:
Time: Aiming for 6:30PM, but will be dependent on TEAM FORMATS Event
Entry: $25.00
A fun way to unwind after a busy day of cards, we'll be hosting a Trivia Competition celebrating FFTCG, Final Fantasy in general, and the AU/NZ community.
Teams of 1 or 2,
Trivia will include pizza and a 600ml drink for all participants, and I have it on good authority that the store allows BYO for those who want to unwind and enjoy the evening.
Teams can win various amounts of GIL.

THE SUMMER CUP REDEMPTION TOURNAMENT:

Your chance to redeem yourself as a solo player from yesterday’s team event with the Summer Cup Redemption Tournament and earn BIG GIL.
Standard format Bo1 Swiss, 35min rounds, cut to Top 8 Bo3. Every round played earns GIL, every win earns extra GIL.

OTHER WAYS TO CASH UP!
SPONTANEOUS CHAOS BOOSTER DRAFT *HAPPY HOUR *
Players build decks from boosters one card at a time and use the breadth of their card evaluation to help them come out on top. Booster from various sets new and old are blind bagged and handed out in random order to draft with.
Normal Drafts are available at any time over the course of the cup weekend, but if you get amongst the limited chaos happy hour draft (announced spontaneously), Double GIL gets added to the event!
3 Rounds, Bo1, 35 mins each.
BOUNTY BOARD ACHIEVMENTS!
When you enter your first event for the weekend you will receive a Bounty List for you to try and achieve throughout your tournament games over the course of the weekend – example: Draw 5 cards in a turn = 10 GIL. Once verified a task is completed and confirmed by staff you will receive various Gil pay outs for each achievement. First to complete the whole Bounty Board List will receive a bonus payout!
ON DEMAND FORMATS!
Gather enough people to play the format of your choice and we will run it as an on-demand entry event and pay out the Gil for it! What are you bringing to FFTCG Summer CUP AUS! - Standard Draft, Judge Tower, Crystal Bearer, Boss Fight, Full title tournament etc……..
In fact, everyone who comments to the announcement post with which non-scheduled format they will be wanting to fire up for GIL and is present for Saturday’s Main Event – Team Formats, will go in the Draw to win a special prize from Colin. You must be at the event to claim!
