Das Quartett um Chris Natividad (Marbled Eye) und Lauren Melton (u.a. Sucker) präsentieren 2024 auf ihrem Debut “color shade blue” an Shoegaze grenzenden Post-Punk mit zero Schnörkel, aber der genau richtig dosierten Menge an Reverb und Delay sowie Noise und Gesangsharmonien.

Bevor uns die Wall Of Sound aus Oakland frontal erwischt, geht’s noch etwas verträumter mit Watching Buildings Grow aus Karlsruhe zu. Dream Pop mit vielen mäandernden Gitarrenparts und Pop Hooks und das alles in der möglichst unaufgeregten Art und Weise.
