Parking for river access is directly past the route 9 bridge, before Tomahawk Intermediate. Walk to the end of the parking lot and turn right on the river bank--there is lots of space to set-up for you and your family! 

This section of Back Creek has a variety of depths but is fairly shallow. An adult can touch the bottom in almost all sections and there are a few areas that are "toddler splash-zone" shallow.
