We will caravan to the site together from here (~1.5hrs).TransportationYour own personal/private vehicle. AWD or 4WD vehicles only, high clearance necessary (at least 8 inch ground clearance)Difficulty: 6/10. We will aim to survey a series of 4 beaver ponds. We will hike off-trail over uneven forest terrain to get to each (~3mi with ~550ft elevation change round trip). We will be hiking through sometimes dense vegetation (willows, tall grasses). This will be a pretty long day with the drive!Difficulty rating 1-10:1 - easy, little elevation gain, on-trail, short distance hiking10 - hard, significant elevation gain, uneven terrain, off-trail, dense vegetation, long distance hikingWhat to bring/wear Comfortable hiking clothes and close-toed shoes you don't mind getting dirty/wet (lightweight hiking pants/work pants recommended over shorts).
