# Event Details - **Event Name**: Fused glass chandelier workshop - **Event Start and End Date**: Sun, 19 Apr, 2026 at 11:00 am – Sun, 19 Apr, 2026 at 02:00 pm (+01:00) - **Event Description**: Submerge yourself in the world of glass fusing, artist Chan Foy will guide you through the process of making bespoke fused glass.About this EventIf you've always fancied having a go at glass fusing, or want to try something completely different, join us at this fabolus workshop making a bespoke glass willow chandelier. Our classes are small to allow for 1:1 time with artist Chan Foy, in order to develop your ideas, and are suitable for beginners and improvers. During class you will decorate 20 strips of glass using Bullseye transparent and opal colours, frit and stringers. After firing in the kiln these will be ready for you to attach to the base (a willow wreath) which you will do from home (full demo in class showing you how). The one pictured below has been further decorated using flowers and fearns. These are not provided for you but are used to show students how to decorate your chanderlier if required, be this a spring, summer, Halloween or festive adornment. Unlike previous classes the chandelier wreaths do not fix to the mains electric, and are used for a decorative effect. You can however run fairy lights through the wreath, this is a really effective way to display your chandelier.
