This guided bird walk will be held at 8:30am and will be led by Dothan residents Bob & Jan Willis. This is an outdoor activity, so dress appropriately and bring your binoculars. ? Hot coffee & hot chocolate will be provided before and after the walk. ☕

The program is FREE with paid admission to the Gardens ($5 for non-members, children under 15 are free). Please register your attendance in advance at www.dabg.com. 

What is the Great Back Yard Bird Count? 
Local birding enthusiasts are invited to participate in the annual “Great Backyard Bird Count” held each February to count birds in backyards, parks, gardens and other natural areas across the country and across the world. Co-hosted by the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, the “Backyard Bird Count” gathers data on birds for the National Audubon Society and the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. This data is utilized to learn more about how bird populations are doing and how to protect them and the environment we share.
