Learn the basics of botanical illustration and how to most effectively use pencil and watercolour paint to create beautiful studies of flowers. Poppy-Lee will lead you through different techniques and painting styles within the field of botanical illustration. On the day, we'll be using locally sourced in-season flowers, and exploring them in detail for life-like watercolour studies.The class is perfect for beginners, novices, watercolourists, hobbyists, and anyone with a curiosity for painting flowers. You'll have your own botanical painting to take away with you at the end of the evening, as well as new skills to put into practice in your own time.
