The Pre-Birkie offers racers the opportunity to earn wave placement for the American Birkebeiner or Kortelopet while supporting meaningful community projects through the Hayward Lions Club. The Pre-Birkie is the Lions Club’s largest fundraiser and helps return tens of thousands of dollars back into the local community each year.

All race entries from previous years’ canceled events are valid for this year’s race.

• Saturday, February 7: 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM

Ample parking is available for racers and spectators at Birkie Ridge.
