About This Event
We are excited to invite you and your labor-management team to the 2026 CA Labor Management Initiative (CA LMI) Alameda County Regional Convening. This event is an opportunity to learn about labor management, understand key collaborative frameworks and are designed as a shared learning and team building experience for school districts and county offices. You will hear presentations from experienced teams that have made significant strides by making labor-management partnerships a priority and learn how to take substantive and collaborative steps together to build deeper partnerships.
New labor-management teams will receive an overview of the CA LMI and can use this opportunity to start on the pathway to deeper collaborative labor-management relationships. Continuing/existing teams will use their time to engage more deeply with new tools and rubrics. Join us and explore how central offices and school sites can improve organizational culture to focus on better outcomes for students and staff.
CA LMI convenes public school management and labor association leadership to build deep and enduring cross-sector union-administration partnerships in California public schools. By exploring and sharing evidence-based research, professional learning methodologies, and best practices through peer learning networks, the CA LMI builds support and expertise among educators and administrators for local labor-management collaborations.
