Join artist Dr. Qinghong Wei and enter the luminous world of watercolor! In this workshop, Dr. Wei will introduce you to essential elements of watercolor painting, and share her unique approach to paint with intuition and freedom. Great for beginners and anyone who wants to learn a more intuitive and freeing approach to watercolor.
Art supplies required:
Watercolor brushes round size 12 or larger, and size 10 or smaller; watercolor paint set in tubes, watercolor paper cold press 140 lb, size 9x12 inch, two water jars, paper towel. For recommended watercolor supplies, visit:

If you don’t have art supplies, you can pay $5 to use the instructor’s supplies during the class.

About Dr. Qinghong Wei
Dr. Wei is known for her lively and luminous watercolor art, and her teaching is raved by students for being engaging, and inspiring. Both an artist and scholar, Dr. Wei has conducted social science research on how art affects people and community. She has hosted art workshops and directed programs throughout the U.S. and internationally. Dr. Wei lives in Hayeville on a little mountain farm and nature-based art studio.
