Gainesville Hawthorne Trail RIde

Meet and ride from the parking lot at the Hawthorne end of the trail at 10:30 a.m.We will ride to the depot park in Gainesville to picnic. (About 36 miles RT)Many of us like to stop at the Paynes Prairie access to walk in and look for birds and gator from the boardwalk (About a 1 mile RT walk) on the return to our cars. There is a kiosk and a bike rack at the entrance to the preserve.
