Bees in your garden

The workshop will be run by Mervyn Aston, a well-known local bee-keeper who also runs courses on bee keeping. He will provide a high-level overview of the ins and outs of bee keeping so you can decide whether this is comething you want to pursue.

It will be held on site at the Hawker community garden. Seating will be limited so people are encouraged to bring their own chair/ camp stool. Also come wearing sun protection i.e. long-sleeved shirt, hat, sunnies etc and sunscreen. I recommend you bring your own water although morning tea will be provided.
