Live Eagle Event

Featuring guest Naturalist, Christina Roelofs of Shelby County and IADNR. Christina will bring Callie, who is a non-releasable adult female bald eagle. Christina has been a Naturalist with the Shelby County Conservation Board for 24 years, shared position with the Iowa DNR for the past 10 years. She began working with raptors about 21 years ago, and with eagles in 2008. “I love using these birds to educate people about raptors”, Roelofs says. Pre-registration is required. Program is free thanks to the sponsorship by the Sioux County Conservation Foundation.
