- **Event Description**: The Havre-Hill County Library and Havre Trails have teamed up to bring a Story Walk event to the Havre community. Beginning September 6th through September 13th, the Story Walk will be accessible to the public at Havre’s Devlin Trail. To kick off the event, volunteers from the library and Havre Trails will be present from 10am-1pm on Saturday, September 6th. There will be small giveaways available as well as light snacks and water while supplies last.

The Devlin Trail is located at the Veterans Memorial Park across from the MSU-Northern stadium. Along the trail will be signage with pages from the story, Have You Ever Seen a Bear With a Purple Smile? The story follows a family of bunnies searching for a huckleberry-eating bear. It teaches kids about the berry season and huckleberry picking. Participants can read the book as they walk along the 0.60-mile loop trail. The Story Walk event provides both an introduction to hiking and an educational opportunity to read and learn about the great outdoors. 

The event is free and open to the public, and people of all ages are encouraged to visit the park and enjoy the story.
