“TRY-IT” WHEEL THROWN POTTERY Workshop - $40

Curious about WHEEL THROWN POTTERY?
Join us for a relaxed 2-hour introduction to wheel throwing!
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals of using a pottery wheel and have plenty of time to practice—no experience required.
Come with a friend, family member, or solo, and enjoy the fun of shaping clay into pieces that are uniquely yours.
You’ll create a few items during class and choose a glaze color. After the session, our studio team will handle trimming, firing, and glazing.
You’ll be notified when your finished pieces are ready for pickup, typically within 1–2 weeks.
All tools and materials are included — just bring your curiosity (and maybe a friend).
Guided step-by-step by an experienced instructor, you will learn how to:
• Center clay on the wheel
• Form basic shapes such as bowls, mugs, or vases
• Use proper hand positions and wheel techniques
• Trim and finish your pieces for glazing
• Explore creative variations and design ideas
No prior experience is required—perfect for complete beginners and creative enthusiasts alike.
Materials Provided:
• Clay
• Pottery wheels
• Trimming and shaping tools
• Aprons
• Glazes
• Studio space and equipment
Participant Guidelines:
• Closed-toe shoes are required
• No prior experience necessary
• Long hair should be tied back and loose clothing avoided near wheels
• Due to limited seating and prep required, all ticket sales are non-refundable
