Mary Jardin Wimberley, (www.MaryTaleARTWORKS.com) an artist from North Wilmington, known for her illustrative watercolors and her unique “Dot Art” style, brings her expertise to Haven May 9th, 2026 from 1:00- 4:00pm, $45.00/person.

Each participant will create an 8” x 10” Goddess dot painting that expresses their inner light and Goddess nature. Each will create their own work of art using tools, tips and techniques guaranteed to succeed with individual guidance and support from Mary who claims 50+ years of art experience. Mary creates a fun, cooperative and friendly environment that is both relaxing and productive. Students always leave proud and excited about their creations. Consider getting a friend group to join you in this workshop!

To begin, Mary will gently guide the participants in a meditative visioning session in which they will access details about their inner Goddesses before beginning the work. Once the group has a sense of what they want to create, they will choose from a number of templates, paint colors and styles (some are metallic) and tools. Some may be led to create the Goddess Gaia while others may want to create the Gardening Goddess and still others may create a moon or sun Goddess or a Goddess of Love.

The session will be led in a step-by-step fashion which promises a relaxed experience with a successful result. Photo reference sheets, directions and all other materials are supplied. We will be working with stencils, templates, a new type of stamping tools, dot tools, assorted paint colors and finishes, jewels and metallic markers! Every student will create a uniquely personal and meaningful image with the design, theme, colors and stylings of their choice.

The finished piece can be framed in a 8” x 10” frame or mounted on a mat board and framed as an 11” x 14” piece. You will want to frame this piece and display where you can commune with it!
