Mark Schultz began playing banjo and guitar in the early 60’s during the folk era. He was drawn to the energy and authenticity of bluegrass and devoted himself to mastering the 5 string banjo. Since that time he has played with too many bands to count, and has branched out into many other genres.

Phillygrass, a project rooted in Bluegrass tradition and shaped by the intensity of Philadelphia’s music scene. The band’s sound emphasizes drive, innovation, and dynamic live performance. Band members include Pat Farrell, Ben Krakauer, Jeff Westerinen, and Chris Coyle.

Doors open at 7:00 pm. 7:30 show. 

BYOB welcome. $5 per drinker donation requested at the door. Ice and cups provided.

Free Parking in Oakmont Municipal lot behind Kelly Center off Darby Road after 6pm.
