Julie Exter and Andrea Tarka White of the bubble grunge duo are formidable singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists who both grew up dreaming of forming an all-girl band. Outside of creative pursuits, White and Exter are mothers in their 40s who are flipping the script on expectations about what women their age "should" be doing.

Friday, January 16th at the Kelly Center celebrates the release of Gun-Shy Butterfly's debut six-song EP "Uncomplicated", saluting their ease of communication and collaboration, and its title also references Gun-Shy Butterfly’s specialty: no frills, open-hearted, loud-guitar rock.

BEES! is Philly's only Arcade Rock band! Inspired by The Presidents of the United States of America, Queens of the Stone Age, and the music from Super Mario World, a BEES! show feels like you're in the middle of a rock and roll arcade. Advance General Admission Seating $15. Advance VIP Reserved Table Seating $20. (VIP tickets guarantee a table close to the stage)

BYOB is welcome for an additional $5 donation per drinker. Disposable cups and ice provided.

Doors open at 7pm. 7:30pm show.  

Free Parking in Oakmont Municipal lot behind Kelly Center off Darby Road after 6pm or Grace Chapel lot at Eagle and Darby Road.
