Held monthly on usually the last Friday of the month 9.30-10.30am for our younger artists to come and enjoy pottery painting here in our studio in Haverhill! On the school run and here earlier? No worries! The coffee machine will be on - why not pop in for a coffee?

Priced still, at just £5 each month children will get a paper plate with lots of colours to create their own masterpiece - from tractors to hot air balloons each month will be different. We will add your childs name and age to the back of the piece giving you an ever lasting memory in years to come! 

Children will be offered squash or water during the session - we don't charge for squash - adults can enjoy a hot or cold drink from the studio kitchen if they wish - these are all sensibly priced with a mug of tea at just £1!

Please refrain from bringing food and drink into the studio - some foods react with the glazes in the kiln. 

Parking is available on Leiston Road - CB9 8JJ 

Items painted during sessions will be left with us to dry, clear glazed, dry again and then fire through our kilns - we estimate this to take around 10 days depending how busy the studio is. We will let you know the estimated turn around time at the beginning of your session - if you are looking for 'Amazon Prime Pottery' this isn't for you! You can not rush these processes!

Cancellation Policy

You can pay for your class by debit card, credit card or Klarna online through the website. Changes to your booking - these need to be completed at the earliest point - please email naomi@thepotteryshed.net.  All classes and events must have a deposit paid for at the time of booking to secure your place. Please make us aware of any special requirements or requests at the time of booking by emailing naomi@thepotteryshed.net. We will do our best to accommodate your request, however please be aware that this may not always be possible.

Bookings Cancelation Policy -  Unfortunately we are not able to offer refunds for courses cancelled with less than 7 days notice before the start of the course, workshop or event.
