Join us for a spectacular celebration of the old Celtic and Welsh traditions of Noson Galan Gaef. Community-made lanterns will drift through the streets at the feet of our giant Ancient Guardian lanterns, guided by the rhythms of Samba Doc and Reel Rebels. The parade will conclude with a fitting fire-display from the incredible Pembrokeshire Fire Spinners. FREE public lantern making workshops coming soon! In light of the devastation being caused across the country by the wildfires this summer, we want to reassure everyone that the Haverfordwest Lantern Parade is scheduled to take place this autumn, at the end of October, when the risks will have significantly decreased. The lanterns are handheld and lit by reusable LED lights. The final fire performance has been rigorously risk-assessed and will take place on hard standing away from any grass or vegetation.
