By the time I left my 4-day trip to Havana in June of last year, I knew things were gonna be different going forward. Was it the heat or the dancing or the people I met? Or all of it combined? Cuba would draw me back much sooner than later…
Now, 6 months later, in January of 2026, I’m organizing my first dance-focused tour to Havana. I hope some of you will take this opportunity to experience this uniquely curated cultural excursion through Havana by way of music, dance, and some incredibly genuine people.
Here’s what we’ve got planned over the course of 5 days:
- Welcome dinner + party + performance
- Goodbye dinner + party + performance
- 8 to 10 hours of dance workshops, including salsa, rueda & casino, and kiztango (kizomba + tango)
- Nightly parties at local clubs in Havana with Profe Yane & friends (except beach day)
- Veradaro Beach Day - transport included in cost
- Ample free time after class and before going out to explore, see El Malecón, and experience serendipitous moments that can only happen in Cuba—with recommendations as needed
- Support and Assistance with obtaining Cuban visa, searching for flights getting a physical SIM card/eSIM, if needed, exchanging money, finding local restaurants, cafes, art galleries and general “on the ground” help from someone who’s currently in Havana living it
- Option for private dance lessons with our lead teacher Profe Yanetsy Elisa Rodríguez
Cost: $599 per person
Not included in this cost: flights, visa, accommodation, airport transport, private lessons with Yane
Visa cost is $55 per person
We are currently working on making guesthouse arrangements on your behalf and will have exact costs soon. We are estimating around $30 a day plus $10 a day for breakfast.
Airport transport could vary by March but for me in the past it has cost $20 or $25 each way.
