Our Live Fire instructor course is designed to be delivered as a “Traditional” course, taking place at the Haughton Fire Department. This course includes occupying various ICS positions during a live-fire training evolution. Because of this, the attending student must possess full PPE, including SCBA. Classwork will begin at 9:00am on each day. A hard copy of the textbook IS NOT included in the cost of this course.
Though Haughton Fire will make every effort to host a certification exam, it will be the responsibility of the registering department to fill out and submit a test request form for their participating members. Additionally, students in this class will have the option to either seek out practical skill evaluation through their respective fire department lead evaluators or to sign up for the Haughton Fire Practical Skill Day at the conclusion of the course.
